ורסו (השימוש המקורי): שריד של עצומה או תכתובת רשמית אחרת מטעם השלטון. נשתמרו ראשי שמונה שורות, המורכבים ברובם מתארי כבוד המופנים אל הנמען. בשולי הדף העליונים מופיעות גם כמה הערות; ייתכן שהן קשורות למסמך שברקטו, או שהן מהוות את התרג'מה (התקציר/הכותרת) של העצומה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Verso (original use): Fragment of a petition or other formal state correspondence. The beginnings of 8 lines are preserved, mostly consisting of honorifics for the addressee. There are also some notations in the upper margin; these might relate to the document on recto or could be the tarjama of the petition.
