Princeton Geniza Project description: Accounts in Arabic which mention kuruş as a form of payment (via ق symbol in second column) which helps to date this fragment as eighteenth- or nineteenth-century. The Ottoman kuruş did not appear widely in circulation until 1703. MCD.
