רקטו: קטע ממכתב דהוי בערבית-יהודית, ובתחתיתו דרישות שלום ממנחם. המכתב נשלח לטבריה. נזכר בו שאדם מסוים התגורר בירושלים; שמישהו בא להתיישב במקומו של השולח ונשא לאישה את ע'אליה אחותו של ר' נמיר; וכי אותו אדם ברח ונטש את משפחתו. לפיכך מתבקש הנמען לערוך בירורים ולהשיבו. אותה יד-כתב ככתב היד שבמסמך נוסף (PGPID 39430). ורסו: שרבוטים וטיוטה של פתיחת עדות משפטית, "מה שאירע לפנינו, אנו העדים", ולאחריה השמות אבו סעד אברהם בן שלה ואבו נצר אלפצ'ל בן סהל (היינו חסד אלתסתרי, שנפטר בשנת 1049/50 לסה"נ).
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Fragment of a faded Judaeo-Arabic letter with greetings from Menaḥem at the bottom and sent to Tiberias. Mentions that someone had lived in Jerusalem; that someone came to stay in the sender's location and married Ghāliya the sister of R. Numayr; and that this person has run away and abandoned his family, so the addressee is asked to make inquiries and send him back. Same hand as T-S AS 166.82 (PGPID 39430). Verso: Jottings and a draft of the beginning of a legal testimony, "What occurred before us, we the witnesses," followed by the names Abū Saʿd Avraham b. Shela and Abū Naṣr al-Faḍl b. Sahl" (i.e., Ḥesed al-Tustarī, who died in 1049/50 CE).
