מכתב מאבו נצר, בנו של הרופא, ובו הוא מאשר את קבלת המכתבים שנשלחו אליו מאת הנמען ומאת אבו אלמעאלי, ומבקש צדקה. בבקשתו הוא מצטט את הפסוק מבראשית כ"ח, כ': "ונתן לי לחם לאכול ובגד ללבוש" — ומבקש דבר זה עבורו ועבור בני ביתו התלויים בו, ולא מעבר לכך. הציטוט והדיון במכתב מובאים אצל מארק כהן, "קולם של עניי היהודים בגניזת קהיר". בצד השני (verso): רישומים בכתב יד גס בכתב ערבי.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Abū Naṣr Ibn al-Ṭabīb in which he acknowledges receipt of letters from the addressee and Abū l-Maʿālī and asks for charity, citing Genesis 28:20: “I ask no more than bread to eat and clothing to wear for me and my dependents.” Dating: ca. second half of the 12th century, based on the dates of the writer.
