איגרת מאת אברהם בן שבתי, החבר של מנית זפתא, אל הנגיד משה בן מבורך, ובה הוא מברך את הנמען על הצלחתו בהתמודדות עם שונא היהודים שיפץ, תוך שימוש בדימוי מטפורי המשווה את העניין לסיפור המן ומרדכי. בסוף האיגרת נמסרות דרישות שלום לבניו של הנמען, מבורך ויהודה, וכן לאמו — וזאת בשמו של בנו של הכותב.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Epistle from Avraham b. Shabbetay, the Ḥaver of Minyat Zifta, to the Nagid Moshe b. Mevorakh, congratulating the recipient for his success in dealing with the Jew hater Shippeṣ, with a metaphorical reference to Haman and Mordechai. Regards are sent to the recipient’s sons, Mevorakh and Yehuda, and also to his mother, on behalf of the writer’s son. (Information from CUDL.)
