מכתב עצמאי ממימוניד לדיין המשכיל (כלומר, שמואל בן סעדיה הלוי). תיארוך: בקירוב 1168-1204, בהתאם לשנים בהן מימוניד פעל במצרים. הנמען מתבקש לתווך בין המביא אבו אל-פח'ר ויריבו המשפטי אבו אל-מחאסן. אם אינו יכול לעשות זאת, עליו לפחות לגרום לאחד מהם להישבע שאין לו רכוש 'לא כאן ולא בשום מקום אחר'.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Autograph letter from Maimonides to al-Dayyan al-Maskil (i.e., Shemuʾel b. Saʿadya ha-Levi). Dating: ca. 1168–1204, based on the years when Maimonides was active in Egypt. The addressee is asked to mediate between the bearer Abū l-Fakhr and his legal opponent Abū l-Maḥāsin. If he is unable to do that, he should at least make one of them take an oath that he has no property 'neither here nor anywhere else.'
