רקטו: מכתב מאת רב שרירא גאון לנמען בפוסטאט, ובו תלונה על הזנחת הישיבה מצד יהודי מצרים והמערב. תחילת המכתב וסופו חסרים, אך יש לתארכו לשנת 962 לסה"נ, בעת ששרירא עוד שימש אב בית דין בישיבת פומבדיתא. ורסו: תחת הכותרת "תרגום אפאטיר" מופיעה רשימת פרשות והפטרותיהן המתאימות, ובכלל זה לשבתות מיוחדות ולמועדים, בליווי הוראות בערבית-יהודית. נכתב ביד מסורבלת משהו ובו מחיקות רבות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter by Sherira Gaon to a correspondent in Fustat, complaining about Egypt and the West's neglect of the Yeshiva. Beginning and end are missing, but the letter should be dated to 962 CE, written while Sherira was still Av Bet Din in the yeshiva of Pumbedita. Verso: Under the title תרגום אפאטיר, there is a list of parashot and their corresponding haftarot, including for special sabbaths and festivals, with Judaeo-Arabic instructions.
