מכתב מיוסף כ'יטו(?) באלכסנדריה ליעקב אלחנאצי (= אל-חנסי = 'מחנס (דמיאט)'), בפסטאט/קהיר. בלאדינו. מתוארך: יום שני, 17 שבט ה'ת'ק = 15 בפברואר 1740 לספירה. הוא מזכיר שדיווח בעבר על מות אחיו מנואל וכעת, בעצב רב (con amargura de mi corazón), מדווח על מות בנו של אחיו מיכאל לאחר מחלה של 15 ימים. Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Yosef כיטו(?), in Alexandria, to Yaʿaqov אלחנאצי (=al-Ḥanesī = "of Ḥanes (Damietta)"), in Fustat/Cairo. In Ladino. Dated: Monday, 17 Shevaṭ 5500 AM = 15 February 1740 CE. He mentions that he previously reported on the death of his brother Manuel and now with great sadness (con amargura de mi corazón) must now report on the death of the son of his brother Mikhaʾel after an illness of 15 days (una jazinura de quince días).
