מסמך משפטי בכתב ידו של חלפון בן מנשה. המקום: פוסטאט. התאריך: יום שני, י"ח באדר ב' שנת 1436 למניין השטרות = 24 במרץ 1125. ללא חתימות. מעורבים בו אבו אל-[...] נתנאל בן תמים הרופא, אבו אל-פצ'איל עובדיה בן שמואל המכונה אבן בקאא', ו-[...] אבן אל-בגדאדי. ייתכן שכינוייהם (כניות) של נתנאל ושל אבן אל-בגדאדי הם אבו אל-עלאא' ואבו עומר בהתאמה. הפרשה נוגעת לחבילה (רֻזמה) של גבעולי במבוק (כַ'יזֻראן), שהייתה אמורה להימכר במהדיה בעבור אחד הצדדים. נדרשת בחינה נוספת כדי לעמוד על רצף האירועים המדויק ועל הטענות. Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. Location: Fustat. Dated: Monday, 18 Adar II 1436 Seleucid = 24 March 1125 CE. No signatures. Involves Abū l-[...] Netanʾel b. Tamīm the physician (ha-Rofeʾ), Abū l-Faḍāʾil ʿOvadya b. Shemuel known as Ibn Baqāʾ, and [...] Ibn al-Baghdādī. The kunyas of Netanʾel and Ibn al-Baghdādī may be Abū l-ʿAlāʾ and Abū ʿUmar respectively. The case concerns a bundle (ruzma) of stalks of bamboo (khayzurān), which was supposed to be sold on behalf of one of the parties in al-Mahdiyya.
