Princeton Geniza Project description: Top part of a receipt issued to Abū l-Ḥasan b. Wahb for his ḍamān on dyeing in Madīnat al-Fayyūm. Date: Not preserved. Probably written before 20 Shaʿbān 405: the official with the ʿalāma "al-ḥamdu li-l-lāhi ʿalā niʿamih" signs this receipt, and in the sequence of the dated part of the corpus signs on behalf of the Dīwān al-ʿAmal up until through 26 Dhū l-Ḥijja 404 (T-S AS 176.304; PGPID 37295); then, starting from T-S Ar.35.176 (32548), dated 20 Shaʿbān 405, he signs on behalf of the Dīwān al-Ishrāf. Since he signs this receipt on behalf of the Dīwān al-ʿAmal, this document must have been written before 20 Shaʿbān 405.
