עצומה מן התקופה הממלוכית, משנת 1442. טיוטה של עצומה מטעם הקהילה היהודית בפוסטאט אל השלטון הממלוכי, בעניין מעשי השחיתות של עבד אללטיף הרופא, ראש היהודים. על פי האמור בעצומה, מכר עבד אללטיף חלקים מנכסי ההקדש ("פיוס פאונדיישנס") והחכיר אחרים בשווי הנמוך מערכם האמיתי, הטיל קנסות פיסקליים גבוהים, החרים רכוש של בני הקהילה היהודית, וכל זאת בנוסף לשורה ארוכה של מעשי פגיעה נוספים שמיוחסים לו. המסמך מבקש את הדחתו מן התפקיד. העצומה והאירועים סביבה נדונו במחקרו של מרק כהן על המשבר של 1442 והקהילה היהודית בסביבה הממלוכית.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Petition, Mamluk period, 1442. Draft of a petition from the Jewish community of Fustat to the Mamluk government concerning the malpractices of ‘Abd al-Latif the physician, head of the Jews, who is reported to have sold portions of pious foundation properties and leased others below their value, imposed high fiscal penalties, and confiscated property of the Jews, among a litany of other harmful acts.
