שטר נישואין. כתובה מעוטרת ומפוארת, ככל הנראה על קלף, מן העיר רשיד שבמצרים. מתוארכת לשנת ה'תקמ"ד לבריאת העולם, היינו 1783/1784 לספירה. שם החתן הוא אברהם, אך שם הכלה לא השתמר. מעמדה המשפטי של הכלה מצוין כ"בתולה ובוגרת". הטקסט דהוי וניתן לפענחו רק באופן חלקי. מתנת הנישואין היא 60,000 מדין — מטבע עות'מאני נפוץ בתקופה זו. העדים החתומים הם אהרן טאויל ומשה פסח. לחתימות נוספות של אותם עדים ראו את חלק העדויות בכתובה אחרת מאותו האוסף (PGPID 12856). המסמך קשור לשטר תנאים של אותו זוג (PGPID 12853), שנכתב באותו כתב יד ובאותה תבנית, וככל הנראה חובר באותו מועד שבו נכתבה הכתובה עצמה. בין התנאים המופיעים בו ניתן למצוא את התחייבות החתן שלא לשאת אישה נוספת על אשתו. עברית וארמית.

Princeton Geniza Project description: Marriage document. A beautiful ornamented ketubah, probably on vellum, from Rashid, Egypt. Dated 5544 AM which is 1783/1784 CE. The groom’s name is Avraham, the bride’s name is not preserved. The bride's legal status is listed as batula and bogeret. The text is faded, and can be partially deciphered. The marriage gift is 60,000 medin - a common Ottoman currency of this period. The witnesses are Aharon Tawil and Moshe Pesaḥ. Connected with ENA 3306.2 (PGPID 12853) which is the ‘bill of conditions’ – שטר תנאים of the same couple, by the same hand and layout, probably written at the same time of the ketubah itself.
