מכתב מאת סעדיה בן נתן הכהן מירושלים אל מבורך בן סעדיה בפוסטאט. תיארוך: בערך 1070. במכתב זה הכותב מציג את עצמו כאיש קשר בין אליהו הכהן גאון ובנו אביתר מצד אחד, לבין יהודה ומבורך בני סעדיה מצד שני. מוזכרת "הגבירה", אמו של מבורך, וכן אחיה מבורך. המכתב מתייחס לתפילות יום הכיפורים ב"מערת היהודים" (או שמא "מערת אליהו"?). המידע מבוסס על גיל.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter from Saʿadya b. Natan Ha-Kohen, Jerusalem, to Mevorakh b. Saʿadya, in Fustat. Dating: ca. 1070. The sender establishes himself in this letter as a liaison between Eliyyahu ha-Kohen Gaʾon and his son Evyatar on the one hand and Yehuda and Mevorakh the sons of Saʿadya on the other hand. Mentions "he-gevira," the mother of Mevorakh, as well as her brother Mevorakh. Refers to the Yom Kippur prayers in "the cave of the Jews" (or "the cave of Elijah"?). (Information from Gil.)
