מכתב ניחום ביהודית-ערבית. ככל הנראה בכתב ידו של טוביה בן עלי. מופנה ל'רבנו'. הכותב שמע מאבו צאלח על מות אישה. הוא מתנצל על שפיספס השבעה אך מדווח שהתפלל תרחים (תפילת נפטרים) על ספר תורה ומשגר ניחומים למשפחה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter of condolence in Judaeo-Arabic. Probably in the handwriting of Ṭoviyya b. ʿEli. Addressed to 'rabbenu.' He learned from Abū Ṣāliḥ of the death of a woman. He regrets that he missed the shivʿa, but reports that he has prayed the tarḥīm (prayer for the deceased) over a Torah scroll and sends condolences to the family. ASE
