שריד ממכתב (פינה שמאלית-תחתונה) מאת שלום בן סִיד, בעברית. תיארוך: המחצית הראשונה של המאה ה-16. הכותב מדווח על התקדמות עסקית למעסיקו או לשותפו. הוא מזכיר את יעקב שאנג'י בשורה 6 וספינה ונציאנית בשורה 7. המידע מבוסס על מהדורתו של אברהם דוד. בצדו האחורי של הקטע מופיעה חותמת דיו בכתב ערבי הנושאת את השם סולימאן.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter, fragment (lower left corner), from Shalom b. Sīd. In Hebrew. Dating: First half of the 16th century. The writer reports on business progress to his employer or partner. He mentions Yaʿaqov Shānjī in line 6 and a Venetian ship in line 7. Information from Avraham David's edition on FGP. The verso bears an Arabic-script ink seal with the name Sulaymān.
