פנים: מכתב בקשת צדקה בעברית. מאוחר, ככל הנראה המאה ה-18 עד ה-19. מופנה לשופט משה אנהורי (אנקורי?) ולאחרים. הכותב אין לו פרנסה מלבד התורה; מבקש לקרוא תורה, ללמד ילדים, או לשמש כשמש בישיבת הנמענים. ר' משה הכהן יעיד עליו. בגב: ניסיונות עט.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: Letter of appeal for charity. In Hebrew. Dating: late, probably 18th or 19th century. Addressed to the judge Moshe Anhori (or Ankori?) and a person whose name is too faded to read and ʿEzra. The writer explains that he has no work except for the Torah, and he would be eager to read the Torah or teach children or serve as shammash in the addressees' yeshiva. R. Moshe ha-Kohen will vouch for the writer. On verso there are pen trials.
