רקטו: מסמך ממשלתי בכתב ערבי. תאריך: לא יאוחר מ-1078/79. כתב יד רחב של לשכת המזכירות (כאנסלרי), עם רווחים גדולים בין השורות. ארבע שורות נשתמרו כאן. הפתיחה כוללת שבחים מפליגים על כך שהח'ליפה הפיץ צדק בעולם, ומשווה אותו לשמש ולכוכב השחר. המכתב מאשר את קבלת הצו ("ואִנّ אלסִّגִ'ל אלמֻעַטַّ'ם וַצַל חַוַאיַ עַן אלחִ'דמַתִ אלצַّאדִרַה" — והנה הסיג'ל הנכבד הגיע אליי בנוגע לשירות שיצא), ושהכותב נישק את האדמה ("פַקַבַّלתֻ אלאַרצַ' אִגְ'לאלַן וַאִעטַ'אמַן" — נישקתי את האדמה מתוך כבוד והערכה). נדרשת בחינה נוספת.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Recto: State document in Arabic script. Dating: No later than 1078/79 CE. Large chancery hand, wide space between the lines. 4 lines preserved here. Opens with fulsome praises for how the caliph has spread justice and comparing him to the sun and the morning star. Confirms the receipt of a decree (wa-inna l-sijilla l-muʿaẓẓama waṣala ḥawāya ʿani l-khidmati l-ṣādira) and that the writer kissed the ground (fa-qabbaltu l-arḍa ijlālan wa-iʿẓāman). Needs further examination.
