הצהרה משפטית. לאחר מותו של אבו אלסרור בן אבו עלי אלחברי בסיציליה, אחיו פתוח תבע את ירושתו, ובית הדין מאשר כי מאחר שאחיהם השלישי (אבו סעיד) כבר נפטר, פתוח הוא אכן היורש היחיד הידוע. דף 1, recto (מסמך a) מתוך שישה עמודים של פרוטוקולי בית דין בכתב ידו של מבורך בן נתן בן שמואל החבר. תיארוך: המסמך הבא בצדו השני (verso) של דף זה מתוארך לסוף אדר אתע"ר (1470 לשטרות), ולפיכך סביר שמסמך זה נכתב בסוף שנת 1158 או בתחילת שנת 1159 לספירה. Princeton Geniza Project description: Legal declaration. After the death in Sicily of Abū l-Surūr b. Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥibrī, his brother Futūḥ claimed his inheritance and the court establishes that as their third brother (Abū Saʿīd) has already died, Futūḥ is indeed the only known heir. Fol. 1, recto (doc. a) of six pages of court records in the handwriting of Mevorakh b. Natan b. Shemuel ha-Ḥaver. Dating: the next document on the verso of this page is dated to the end of Adar 1470, so this document is likely from late 1158 or early 1159 CE.
