שריד מאיגרת בכתב ערבי. הכותב הוא וַלִיּ(?) הפונה אל "אביו" עבד אל-עזיז (ששמו מופיע ברקטו). הכתובת על האיגרת ממוענת אל מַכִּין(?) בן וַלִיּ אל-[...] אל-חרירי בשכונת אל-מֻצַאצַה בפוסטאט. מבחינת התיארוך: ככל הנראה מן המאה ה-13 או ה-14, על סמך כתב היד, פריסת הטקסט וטיפוסי השמות המופיעים. השולח מדווח כי "אחיך עפיף יצא לדרכו, ולבי היה...", אך מעבר לכך לא השתמר חומר רב נוסף. בשוליים ניכרים חורי סיכה במרווחים של כ-4 מ"מ זה מזה.
Princeton Geniza Project description: Letter fragment in Arabic script. From Waliyy(?) to his 'father' ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz (named on recto). The address is made out to Makīn(?) b. Waliyy al-[...] al-Ḥarīrī in the al-Muṣāṣa neighborhood of Fustat. Dating: Likely 13th or 14th century based on the hand, layout, and typical names. The sender reports that 'your brother ʿAfīf departed, and my heart was...." Not much else is preserved. Pinholes in the margin ~4mm apart.
